Welcome the Edmonton Moose Family Center! We
are pleased to continue to bring you special activities
and events throughout the year. We invite all members of the community
to come out to the Lodge, and check some of these great events
out live, and in person! For any further details on these events,
call the Moose Family Center Hotline! The number is listed at the
bottom of this page!
Major Website Update Scheduled!
There is a major update in the works for the Edmonton Moose Family
Center website! Although the "user friendly" format
of the website will remain intact, there will be a few changes
to the site itself. Please stay tuned for these changes, and until
then, make sure you keep checking in for the latest Moose Lodge
updates!
Karaoke & Sunday Jam Sessions
The Edmonton Moose Family Center is proud to
present these two great events on a monthly basis! Our Karaoke
events are very popular, so you'll want to make sure
you come early, to make sure you've gotten yourself a good seat!
Karaoke at the Moose Center is guaranteed to be a great
time. The best part is that it won't break your budget... the
price? Free! We're currently in the process of booking more of these events, so keep checking for updates!
Our Sunday Jam Sessions are still going strong,
and come to you from the Edmonton Moose Family Centre on the first
Sunday of every month. What a better way to spend one Sunday afternoon
per month, than to come on down to the Moose Center and enjoy
an assorted array of talented musicians, performing for you! Admission
to these Jam Sessions is $5. The
show starts at 1:00 PM, and you won't want to miss a minute of
it!
Martial Arts @ the Moose Lodge

Arts classes occur every Monday and Wednesday, beginning at 6:00
PM, while the Adult Martial Arts classes run every Tuesday, and
begin at 7:00 PM. Our Martial Arts Program is designed for those
who would like to partake in a Martial Arts class, but are uncertain

Meat Draw Raffles
The Moose Family Center Meat Draw Raffles are
held once a month, and believe us, they get pretty busy! Come
early to make sure you don't miss out on the chance to participate!
Upcoming dates for the Meat Draw Raffles are being worked on, and we will update this information as soon as we've figured it all out. The Draws begin at 2:30 PM,
so don't be late!
Moose Family Center Presents... Traditional
Country Dancing with Bev Monroe!
Still going strong at the Moose Center!
CFCW Alumnis Bev Monroe continues to bring his hot traditional
country dancing to the Edmonton Moose Family Center, and he's
brought some excellent traditional country music bands
along with him! Bev was "the voice" of CFCW for many,
many years before his retirement from the station, but his retirement
doesn't stop him from doing what he loves most... and that's sharing
fun times and great entertainment with the community!
Join Bev Monroe at the Moose Family Center every
Tuesday night. For all
of these evenings, the doors open at 6:00 PM, with the live music
running until about 11:15 PM. Cover charge is only $7! As well, at
every event, a cash bar will be avaliable for your
enjoyment. For more details, call our hotline number, as listed
below!
Senior's Dances at the Moose
On Thursday, August 9 and Thursday, August 23, the Moose Center opens
its doors for the senior members of our community. We present
them with live music, good food, and a great atmosphere. Basically,
we give them an opportunity to dance to a live band, and enjoy
the camaraderie of other seniors from the community. The doors
open at 5:00 PM, with supper served at 6:00 PM. Dancing begins
at 7:00 PM, and carries through untl 10:00 PM.
Tickets for these special evenings include a
Banquet & Dance. For all of these events, tickets can be purchased
at the door, or you can still pick up tickets in advance. We will
be printing 150 tickets – when they are gone –“that’s
all that will be let in”. Again, tickets can be picked up
in advance by dropping in to the Moose Lodge before the event,
and talking to the bartender. For more details, or ticket prices,
call our hotline number, as listed below! Upcoming live events
are being worked out, and an update listing these bands
will be available soon.

For information on these or any other upcoming
events, give us a shout! You can reach the Moose Family
Center Hotline @ 457 6633
